 The qualifying round will have up to 84 players
 Eligibility: Brazilian and Foreigners professional players; Amateurs are permitted with HCP Index lower than 3.0
 Players finishing from 13rd position on will be considered alternates
 Ties for the 12nd position will be decided by sudden-death play off
 Ties for the alternates will be decided by the last 9, 6, 3 and 1 holes
 Use of caddie will be mandatory
 Brazilian hard card will be used
 Golf carts will not be allowed
 Entry cancellation after October 30th will not be reimbursed
 

 Daily shuttle service from the Official Hotels to the Gavea Golf & Country Club.
 Schedule time to be informed
 No transfers from Airport / Hotel / Airport
 

 Breakfast is included in the daily price
 Additional charges to the room will be the responsibility of the player or guest/caddie. 
 A credit card imprint for those incidental expenses will be required upon check-in.

 If you do need a local caddie, please let Adler Fernandes at IMX know (adler.fernandes@imx.com.br) as soon as possible because availability is very limited.  The cost of using a local caddie is R$ 120,00 (US$ 50.00)  Players should pay cash in local currency directly to the caddie.

 Please note that NO metal spikes will be allowed in the Clubhouse, but rubber spikes will be permitted.

 A valid U.S. passport for a minimum of six months from the date of intended arrival in Brazil;
 One blank page available for the Brazilian visa stamp is requested (the last pages, reserved by the US government for amendments, cannot be used for visa issuance);A completely filled out and signed visa application form in the original (faxes are not accepted). Make sure your signature on the form is the same as the one on your passport;
  The form can be downloaded from the webpage  (www.consulatebrazil.org) or be picked up personally at any Brazilian Consulate.
 A recent 2" X 2" color passport-style photograph, front view, against white background to be attached to the application form. Other types of photographs will NOT be accepted;
 A copy of your round trip ticket to Brazil or a printout of the flight itinerary.
